Who Cares?
Was going to post this on Friday, but didn't have the time, so it may be a little out dated:
Who cares…
… if Curt Schilling had blood or something else on his sock in game 6 of the 2004 ALCS? This is something that happened 2 ½ years ago! Is it really that slow of a news week that this is the sports story dominating the circuit? I’m pretty sure the NHL and NBA playoffs are on, MLB is getting into swing, and there’s a little thing I like to call the NFL Draft coming up this weekend. Yet, whether Schilling may or may not have had blood on his sock during that game is a huge story? Speaking of the nfl…
… who the first pick in the NFL Draft is going to be? We’ll all find out either late Friday night or at 11:00am on Saturday morning. Is it really that big of a deal? Look at the team they are going to; the Raiders. The first pick is basically screwed because of the organization he is going to…
… if the Packers are trying to trade for Larry Johnson? Oh wait, I do. He is probably not going to be very durable next year unless he is the exception to the rule that rushing over 400 times the previous season severely limits your abilities the next season…
… about A-Rod possibly opting out of his NY Yankees contract at the end of the season, besides those who live in New York? I like the Yankees and I’m getting sick of all of the coverage this team and the Red Sox get. But it has really hit a point where it is unbearable with the almost daily columns about whether or not A-Rod should opt out of his contract and the beliefs that he will or won’t…
… about college baseball? No one, and that’s a damned shame…
… that Ben Sheets pulled his groin and had to leave his last start after 3 innings? Look, the guy has been injured the past three seasons, but he is definitely an elite pitcher, look at his stats in his career. He’s no Mark Prior or Kerry Wood, this guy has actually been reliable through entire seasons and he may not even miss a start…
… if Joe Thomas wants to skip the draft? The NFL is making a semi-big deal out of this, let the man do what he wants to do. It’s not like he has any incentive to go to New York to sit there and be nervous until he gets drafted, let the man fish in peace…
