The Cubbie

It has been a while since Gaddis wrote his column entitled "Matt on Nate", but in it he mentioned how I invented a delicious drink called "The Cubbie" and that I would post the ingredients on this site at some point. Well, now seems like as good of a time as any, as the Cubs have won four straight games (and since I mentioned it, they will probably lose today, I seem to be a black cat for them). They are playing well and getting players healthy, so in honor of that, when watching the games this weekend, feel free to mix up a few of these bad boys and enjoy the game that much more.

The Cubbie

Fill a high ball glass with ice. *
Add 1 oz. blue rasberry UV Vodka
Add 1 oz. cherry UV Vodka
Add 2 oz. Vodka (any kind will do, my personal choice as many know is, Kettle One)
Add 2 drops of cherry juice (optional depending on how sweet you want your drink)
Fill remainder of glass with Code Red Mountain Dew
Sip to enjoy

* For those of you not privy, a high ball glass is a regular bar glass, or a double Old Fashioned glass.
** Chef's note, this drink is best enjoyed while watching a Cubs game during which some delicious Budweiser or Old S
Style products are consumed as well.

-Until next time...

It's a great drink. I believe I was there one of the first nights of existence and must say, it was good, real good.
