Hoop Dreams

In my opinion, one of the greatest films ever made is finally released on DVD today. Hoop Dreams was groundbreaking at the time for it's unconventional documentary style and for the way it exploited recruiting of young men and the way young inner city african americans are exploited. It focuses on Aurthur Agee and William Gates. Gates as many of you remember went on to play at Marquette, but knee injuries derailed most of his potential. If you are a basketball, documentary or drama fan by all means go out and buy this movie. To all fans of this movie, rejoice beacause a sequal is being produced as we speak
