On and on and on
- First of all, I was waaaaayyyyyy off on the Duke/Texas game. First of all, the game wasn't in Austin like I thought, and second, it was a Duke rout. If I would have watched it, I would have some detailed insight here, but I was reffing a tournament that day, so I didn't get a chance to watch it. My brother told me that Texas never looked like they were in the game even when they brought the deficit back within 5 early in the second half. Perhaps I underestimated this Duke team, but as of right now, I still do not think they are National Championship material.
- Adam Morrison may have the worst mustache in the world, but the kid can flat play basketball. I was sitting in Chris' basement watching as he banked in the three pointer to beat Oklahoma State in a great college basketball game on Saturday. The only thing is, why did he shoot a three? This is something which bothers me about kids at the end of games, be it college or high school, if down by 1 or 2, the players will more often than not, hold the ball until it is too late to drive and possibly draw contact and shoot a wild three point shot for the win. Morrison could have won the game on a two, but instead decided to attempt an off balance three pointer over two defenders. It worked out in the end, but why not drive in that situation? I will never understand this.
- It is incredible to me that there were Heisman voters who didn't vote Reggie Bush for the Heisman, not even named on their ballots. Even if the voters voted for their two favorite players from their favorite team, how do you not even put Bush on your ballot as the third name? The margin he won by was pretty amazing, but to me the fact that even 1% of the voters didn't name him one of the top 3 players in the country. All I can say now is, welcome to Houston Mr. Bush.
- What is Donovan McNabb going to have to do in order to stop taking shots from other people? It seems like anything he does or will do will garner criticism from someone. Has there ever been an athlete who has taken more crap from people than him, without really doing anything to deserve it?
- Gaddis will be in town this weekend, so good times and hearty laughs will be had all around.
- $40,000 in hazard pay to the Saints from the NFL because of hurricane Katrina? WOW. Um, didn't the NFL donate only $1 million to the city of New Orleans after the hurricane ruined everyone's lives? Now, they are handing out a cool $2.1 million to the players on the 53 man roster, not including those on IR or the practice squad. Does something about this seem wrong to anyone else?
- Is anyone else getting sick about; will the Colts go 16-0, should the Colts go for 16-0, Terrell Owens had a party this weekend, the phrase, 'thrown under the bus', sports hernias, if Brett Favre will retire, if Aaron Rodgers should start, holiday trees (IT'S A CHRISTMAS TREE, and until I see a tree for Hanukah, Kwanza, or any other holiday for that matter, I will call it a Christmas Tree), people who will sue or demand change if one little thing upsets or offends them, the Vikings boat cruise, Miguel Tejada and Manny Ramirez, announcers who forget names or say the wrong teams or don't really know what they are talking about, Bob Brainard, and finally whether or not the Colts pump crowd music into their stadium.
- That's all I have. Read draft #29 under the "another disgruntled worker link", it's pretty good.
- Until next time...

Leave Morrison's mustache alone, that thing is going to be in the hall of fame someday.
Not sure whether or not Adam will be, but the mustache is a definite lock.

I have no idea who said Bob Sanders wasn't anything special, it for sure wasn't anyone who contributes to this blog. Gaddis was pulling for the Packers to select him before the draft a few years ago, Todd probably still has that on tape from one of our TNST visits.
