Cold Beer

Since I know all of you will be enjoying a tasty beverage while also enjoying the Ohio State/ Texas first every matchup tomorrow night (7:00pm, ABC), I thought I'd help out and tell you the fastest way to cool beer.

This is straight from "Myth Busters" which airs on Discovery Channel at 7:00 and 8:00pm on Tuesday's.

The fastest ways to cool a six pack of beer from room temperature to drinking temperature, between 37-40 degrees farenheit:

30 minutes: Refridgerator
25 minutes: Cooler with Ice
20 minutes: Cooler with Ice and Water
15 minutes: Freezer
5 minutes: Cooler with Ice and Salt Water
3 minutes: Blast a fire extinguisher on top of the six pack for 3 mintues.

So there you go, a cooler with salt water and ice will chill that beer down faster than anything practical. Enjoy the game. Don't worry, if you miss it, it will be on ESPN Classic next week as an "instant classic".
