Morning Report

Reds
Cardinals
Astros -.5
Cubs -3.0
Brewers -3.0
Pirates -10.5

Cubs 0 vs. Brewers 9

Yeah, so the weekend didn't go too well for the Cubs, and went quite well for the Brewers. The Rusch game should be just enough evidence to convince Mr. Baker to NEVER let Glendon pitch in the starting rotation again.
The Brewers showed exactly why they are a tough team to beat and why Harold Reynolds picked them to win the Central Division. Solid pitching on Saturday and a complete game 5 hitter from Capuano on Sunday, and big hits all weekend.

We sat in the rain for about 90 minutes yesterday before we decided to leave and by the time we got to the first toll booth, the game actually started. We were a little upset we left and they ended up playing, but it was still a good weekend.
I will say that the bleachers are nice, it doesn't really even seem like anything was changed, just the batter's view suite was added, and that's quite a testament to the construction crews who worked through the winter to add the 1,800 seats.

Now the teams are tied in the standing and don't meet again until June 26th in Milwaukee, and the standings should look quite different by then.

Brewers vs. Astros 7:05

Cubs vs. Pirates 7:05

-Until next time...
